METHODOLOGY FOR FORMING A STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article studies issues of methodological approach to formation of the strategy of sustainable development of agrarian enterprises. The current problems and challenges of strategic management of agrarian enterprises on the basis of sustainable development are considered. The author focuses on the importance of implementing sustainable development strategies in the context of instability, current external challenges and threats. The author defines and specifies the methodology of forming a strategy for sustainable development of an agricultural enterprise in the form of a logical sequence of stages. The content of each stage in the logical sequence of their implementation is disclosed. A general scheme of the methodology of forming a strategy for sustainable development of an agricultural enterprise is proposed, which clearly demonstrates the algorithm of actions in the formation of a strategy for sustainable development of an agricultural enterprise. The author focuses on the advantages of the proposed methodological approach to forming a strategy for sustainable development of agrarian enterprises, which ensure the effectiveness of the strategy in the long term, as well as take into account the economic, environmental and social aspects of sustainable development. In the process of setting strategic goals, assessing the current level of sustainable development, forming and implementing a sustainable development strategy of an agricultural enterprise, it is proposed to use a system of evaluation indicators. Each component of sustainable development is detailed by the relevant indicators of achieving the goals of the strategy, which can be represented both by actual and target values. The author of the study has identified a number of adaptation measures and strategic decisions that should be taken into account in the complex of supporting measures of the methodological approach to forming a strategy for sustainable development of agricultural enterprises. These measures are defined taking into account the current realities of digitalisation of production, economy and management, as well as the conditions of martial law and the consequences of war.
