ENTROPIC ASPECTS AND SUBSTITUTION OF DIRECTIONS FOR ENSURING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article comprehensively studies the theoretical and methodological foundations of ensuring sustainable development of an enterprise in the context of modern entropy challenges. The evolution of the concept of sustainable development on the basis of international documents such as the World Conservation Strategy, the Brundtland Report, the Rio Declaration, Agenda 21 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals is analyzed. The essence of sustainable development is defined as a continuous process of harmonization of economic, social and environmental aspects of enterprises' activities in order to ensure long-term efficiency and responsibility to society. The main scientific approaches to understanding the sustainable development of enterprise are considered: a triune concept (economic, environmental and social components), managerial, process and innovative approaches. It is shown that sustainable development of an enterprise requires the implementation of effective management decisions aimed at maintaining a balance between profitability, environmental responsibility and social progress. Particular attention is paid to the methodological principles of forming a mechanism for ensuring sustainable development of enterprises. The key concepts and models are characterized, in particular, theories of economic growth, modernization, innovation and resource potential management, and socio-ecological economics. The components of the organizational and economic mechanism of sustainable development are defined: strategic planning, economic stability, environmental management, social responsibility, innovation and technological development, monitoring and reporting. The author considers the interaction of these elements in the context of an integrated approach to enterprise management. The article proposes a structural construction of the sustainable development mechanism, which includes the stages of diagnostics, mission definition, development of development scenarios, modeling, selection of incentive tools and efficiency control. The importance of applying a systematic, adaptive and innovation-oriented approach in the process of managing the development of an enterprise is emphasized. It is substantiated that the implementation of a set of sustainable development measures contributes to increasing the competitiveness of enterprise, ensuring economic sustainability, strengthening reputation and compliance with global trends in sustainable development. It is concluded that the implementation of an integrated approach to sustainable development will help to increase the efficiency of the enterprise, its market stability and long-term profitability. The results of the study can be used in the practical activities of enterprises seeking to strengthen their positions in the new economy focused on innovation and environmental safety.
