MODERN APPROACHES TO THE APPLICATION OF MILITARY STRATEGIES IN INNOVATION MANAGEMENT IN CONDITIONS OF UNSTABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article analyzes the current state of the innovation potential of domestic enterprises and points out its ineffective use. It is emphasized that for effective planning and use of the innovation potential of enterprises, it is necessary to consider the innovation strategy as part of the overall strategy. In this context, it can be noted that not only the consistency of the innovation strategy with the overall strategy is necessary, but also with all strategies implemented at the enterprise or industry. With such consistency of development strategies, a synergistic effect may arise, which will be the result of the search and adoption of creative management decisions. It is noted that in conditions of martial law, it is necessary to adopt the experience of those countries that developed and implemented military innovation strategies. The use of such strategies by domestic enterprises in innovation management will allow to obtain a significant competitive advantage in crisis situations. One of such strategies is the OODA Loop, which can be used in the innovation activities of enterprises. The main advantages of such a strategy are flexible product development, analysis of market trends and strategic adaptation. Companies that have successfully applied this military strategy during crises have been able to quickly identify new risks, reorient to alternative suppliers, implement remote work policies, move part of their operations online, and act on contingency plans based on real-time feedback. Using another military strategy, AAR transforms operational experiences into “learning events” that ensure the dissemination of effective practices. In this context, the AAR strategy becomes a vital mechanism for introducing structured learning and adaptability into the innovation process. It has been proven that companies with higher levels of psychological safety demonstrate significantly better innovation results, as employees are more willing to identify problems at an early stage, share diverse perspectives, and jointly seek solutions. It is emphasized that organizations that actively overcome cultural, procedural, and technical barriers and integrate into strategic learning systems can fully unleash the potential of the AAR strategy as a catalyst for sustainable innovation and organizational resilience.
