FORMATION OF AN INTEGRATED DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM AS A FACTOR IN INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF PROJECT TEAM MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The article explores the theoretical and applied aspects of using digital tools in remote project management. Key categories of software, including business messengers, task managers, and knowledge management systems, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the criteria for selecting digital platforms, issues of their interoperability, and the role of management in forming a coherent digital ecosystem of an enterprise. The advantages and disadvantages of leading services (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Trello, etc.) are identified in the context of enhancing team interaction efficiency. It is worth noting that the choice of tools for business communications is determined by the operational needs of the team. The Chanty platform is positioned as an intuitive and budget-friendly solution. In contrast, the Slack and Microsoft Teams ecosystems are focused on scalable business processes thanks to the extended functionality of integrations. Discord effectively satisfies the specific requests of creative teams, and the request for a high level of security and data autonomy is implemented through the deployment of Rocket.Chat. The next important element to consider is task tracking tools. The fact is that the larger the number of tasks, the harder it is to track them. To effectively solve these tasks, various software tools are used that help increase productivity and optimize workflows. The study confirms that the effectiveness of remote project management is directly correlated with management's ability to transform a collection of autonomous software products into a holistic digital ecosystem, where the choice of tools is based on operational needs, budget constraints, and security requirements, rather than marketing trends. A promising vector of development is seen as further automation of routine operations and the development of integrated knowledge bases to preserve the intellectual capital of the organization regardless of the location of employees. As a result, the modern role of the manager is to strategically design a balanced digital workspace that harmonizes the requirements of technical unification with the teams' need for flexibility for successful project implementation.
