CLASSIFICATION OF STAKEHOLDER-ORIENTED TOOLS FOR MANAGING AN ENTERPRISE'S BUSINESS PROCESSES
Abstract
In this article, we conducted a comprehensive study of stakeholder-oriented business process management tools and identified the need to systematise them based on modern management concepts. The generalisation of scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of "stakeholder", "business process", and "management tools" has enabled us to form the conceptual basis for further classification. We have shown that the classifications available in the literature mainly cover individual tool groups or narrow aspects of stakeholder interaction, which do not allow us to evaluate the tools as a coherent system. In this article, we have provided an expanded list of classification criteria for stakeholder-oriented business process management tools for enterprises. We propose classifying such tools according to their functional purpose, management levels, time horizon, level of formalisation, type of stakeholder involvement, nature of value created, by direction of influence, by level of integration into the management system, by source of initiation, by level of novelty, by object of influence, by spatial-temporal characteristic, by nature of goals, by level of individualisation, by formation characteristics, by coverage, by the nature of managerial influence, by the subject composition of performers, by the type of organizational influence, by the key tasks to be solved, by the level of stakeholder maturity of the enterprise, from the kind of interaction generated, by the depth of digital integration, and by the level of influence on strategic behaviour. We have demonstrated that multidimensional classification enables us to organise tools by their content characteristics, identify structural links between them, outline the logic behind the toolkit's formation, and determine potential directions for its development. The results of the study contribute to the formation of a theoretical and methodological basis for the further development of practical mechanisms of stakeholder management and their integration into the complex management systems of modern enterprises.
